What is ombre hair?
Ombre is a coloring technique, which means “shade” in French. During the ombre, the length and ends of the hair are colored lighter than the current hair color. Regardless of the preferred tones, the goal is to create natural and harmonious tone transitions. In other words, the most important thing that distinguishes ombre from other techniques such as refle is the preference for natural transitions. While the hair roots remain in their current color, a gradual tone transition is applied to the length and ends of the hair. Thus, the hair gets a brighter, more vibrant and modern look.
How is the balayage made?
As in other coloring techniques, the color is applied by hand using certain tools and brush. To achieve a successful result in this procedure, you need to apply a professional stylist. Look for a stylist specialized in balayage techniques to find the right color and consult with the stylist before applying the color. Show the photos of the color you want so that your hair stylist knows exactly what you want. After seeing and discussing the color you want, the stylist can give you a look that will make you happy.
Difference from other coloring processes :
Balayage technique differs from ombre or traditional coloring methods. If you give your hair stylist the freedom to apply the color that she finds suitable, the result will be even more pleasing to you.
How long do the ombre, balayage processes take?
It varies depending on the depth of the style you want. Some processes can take 30-45 minutes, others 2-3 hours. It can vary depending on the color you want and the length of your hair.
